Piercings are a pretty painful thing, some more than others but most also look pretty good, so why not? If you fancy getting piercing then there are some things you should know.
For example, if you get a piercing on the upper part of your ear, it can take up to 9 months to heal. Whilst if you get the lower part of your ear pierced, it can take up to only 6 weeks to heal.
If getting a nose piercing, I advice for you to ask the piercer to pierce you with a needle instead of the piercing gun as the gun often leaves a lump inside your nose where the piercing is on the long term. Many people also find that getting pierced with a gun causes them more pain because of the shock that part of your body goes through at the time. Also I suggest to try not to be pierced with a hook piercing as that is absolute hell to get off when you first take your piercing out. After that, its up to you which time of nose stud or hoop makes you feel the most comfortable wearing.
I also advice that if you are getting an eyebrow piercing, that you search up a little further into it before you proceed to getting the piercing as eyebrow piercings can be easily ripped out as they are a surface piercing. Eyebrow piercings can also grow out of the skin. when this happens, you can be left with a scar and for some people, that scar never entirely goes away.
Put some thinking into your piercings, give them awesome aftercare and you'll be happy with them!
